The new everyday life proposed by IM MEN is expressed through the perspective of TAKT PROJECT as an exhibition. Please have a look at the exhibition.

A Piece of Cloth and One Line

Moments of joy, surprise, and tranquility.
Everyday life holds a multitude of expressions.

A piece is a single surface, but it being cloth naturally leads to infinite multifaceted possibilities.
IM MEN draws a line on this possibility-filled piece of cloth to give it a new facet.

Preserving the nature of the multifaceted to its utmost degree.
As if unlocking unexplored senses and discovering a new normal.
It is a quest to artfully create everyday wear from a piece of cloth, embracing its inherent multifaceted universality.

That is what IM MEN’s clothing and craft is about.
Dressing in IM MEN’s clothes is like drawing a new line in daily life.

This exhibition employs laser levels—tools used on construction sites to map straight lines—as components for spatial composition, presenting the craft of IM MEN’s clothing.

A single line of light renders diverse luminous expressions on a large piece of cloth floating in space, staging diverse scenes in front of our eyes as if to symbolize IM MEN’s approach to clothing design.
The light line penetrates the cloth and traces the uneven contours of the surroundings, unfolding a new face different from that of the space we know continuously as if resonating with the light on the cloth.

The universality that IM MEN seeks lies in these multifaceted faces hidden in our ordinary world.
This exhibition presents the pursuit of IM MEN’s clothing and craft.
